Synopsis
The daughter of a brilliant but unstable math professor reaches her 25th birthday and wonders whether she has inherited her late father’s genius, madness or both. The discovery of a valuable proof in her father’s notebook and an encounter with one of his students opens up intriguing new questions in David Auburn’s play which won the Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize in 2001.
